The release history of Teheran born (but now Karlsruhe resident) DJ & producer Shahrokh Dini is spiced with lots of good house music on labels like Strictly Rhythm, Ministry Of Sound, Caus-N-Effect and of course Compost Records. His debut album Dripping Point got massive commendation in magazines like De:Bug, Groove, Raveline, XLR8R or DJ Magazine and featured the talents of gifted vocalists like Siri Svegler, Jamie Lloyd and Robert Owens.
In 2010 he teamed up with new production partner and bass player Ralf Strecker. Together they scored big time with the Tacky Dreams EP on Compost Blacklabel and a stunning remix of George Levins Late Discovery on BBE.
On their brand new BCBtec release "Hard Drive" they boil down Shahrokhs trademark references to Jazz, Funk and Disco and deliver two straight forward detroitesque House bangers riding on moster basslines and brimming with jacking old school elements. Moodmusic head honcho Sasse contributes a top drawer remix of the title track to round up the package.
